पुणे, दि. ११ : स्वामी विवेकानंदांच्या प्रेरणादायी विचारांचे स्मरण करत, राजमाता जिजाऊंना अभिवादन करत माध्यमिक शाळांमधील लहानग्या विद्यार्थी-विद्यार्थिनींच्या घोषपथकांनी सादर केलेल्या वीरवृत्ती आणि चेतना जागवणाऱ्या प्रांगणीय संगीत म्हणजेच मार्शल म्युझिकमधील रचनांनी युवा चेतना दिनाचा कार्यक्रम संस्मरणीय ठरला. स्वामी विवेकानंद यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्ताने महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीतर्फे दरवर्षी युवा चेतना दिन साजरा करण्यात येतो. म. ए. सो. गरवारे महाविद्यालयाच्या मैदानावर आज (शनिवार, दि. ११ जानेवारी २०२५) हा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.
शिवछत्रपती पुरस्कार विजेते बुद्धिबळपटू जयंत गोखले आणि राज्य गुप्तवार्ता विभागाच्या अप्पर उप आयुक्त उज्ज्वल अरुण वैद्य या वेळी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून उपस्थित होते. महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीचे उपाध्यक्ष प्रदीप नाईक कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी होते. महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या नियामक मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष बाबासाहेब शिंदे, उपाध्यक्ष सौ. आनंदी पाटील, नियामक मंडळाचे सदस्य व म.ए.सो. क्रीडावर्धिनीचे अध्यक्ष विजय भालेराव, संस्थेचे सहाय्यक सचिव व म.ए.सो. क्रीडावर्धिनीचे महामात्र सुधीर भोसले, यावेळी व्यासपीठावर उपस्थित होते.
संस्थेच्या विविध जिल्ह्यातील माध्यमिक शाळांमधील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या १२ घोषपथकांनी विविध रचना यावेळी सादर केल्या. घोषपथकातील विविध आकारांच्या, आवाजांच्या, सूरांच्या आणि तालांच्या वाद्यांचा एकत्र मेळ घालत विद्यार्थ्यांनी केलेल्या सुरेल वादनाने प्रांगणीय संगीताची वैशिष्ट्ये उपस्थितांना अनुभवायला मिळाली. किरण तसेच भूप, केदार, शिवरंजनी रागातील पारंपारिक रचनांबरोबरच नव्याने बांधलेली ‘अयोध्या’ ही रचना सर्वांच्या मनाचा ठाव घेणारी होती. या रचना सादर करताना काही घोषपथकांनी वर्तृळ, बाण अशा विविध आकारांच्या रचनेत उभे राहून, संचलन करत सादर केलेले वादन शिस्तीचा संस्कार सांगणारे होते. म.ए.सो. मुलांचे विद्यालयाच्या घोषपथकाने सादर केलेली ‘राम आएँगे आएँगे राम आएँगे…’ ही धून बरोबर एक वर्षापूर्वी झालेल्या अयोध्येतील श्रीराम मंदिरातील प्राणप्रतिष्ठा सोहळ्याच्या स्मृती जागवणारी होती.
म.ए.सो. राणी लक्ष्मीबाई मुलींची सैनिकी शाळेच्या घोषपथकाने लष्करी गणवेशात आणि अतिशय शिस्तबद्धपणे केलेले सादरीकरण उपस्थितांना प्रजासत्ताक दिनी राजधानी नवी दिल्लीत होणाऱ्या सैन्यदलांच्या संचलनाचा अनुभव देऊन गेले. या घोषपथकाने सादर केलेल्या ‘जयोस्तुते श्री महन्मंगले…’ या रचनेने वातावरण वीरश्री आणि देशप्रेमाने भारावून गेले. म.ए.सो. रेणुका स्वरुप प्रशालेच्या घोषपथकाने केलेले सादरीकरण ताल आणि सुरांच्या सुरेल संगमातून निर्माण होणाऱ्या नादाची अनुभूती देणारे होते. ‘अयोध्या’ ही नवीन रचना म्हणजे शौर्य आणि शांत रसाचे अभिनव मिश्रण होते.
संस्थेच्या विविध जिल्ह्यातील शाळांमधील घोषपथकातील साईड ड्रमर्सनी किरण आणि भूप रचनांवर आधारित एकत्रितरित्या सादर केलेले प्रात्यक्षिक म्हणजे तालसंगीतामुळे साधल्या जाणाऱ्या समन्वयाचे उत्तम उदाहरण होते. राणी लक्ष्मीबाई मुलींची सैनिकी शाळेच्या घोषपथकाने सादर केलेल्या ‘शिवगर्जने’ने या प्रात्यक्षिकांचा समारोप झाला.
कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रारंभी विजय भालेराव यांनी युवा चेतना दिनाच्या कार्यक्रमाच्या आयोजनामागील भूमिका सांगितली.
या प्रसंगी बोलताना जयंत गोखले यांनी, खेळ आणि अभ्यास यांच्यात समन्वय साधण्याची गरज असली तरी खेळांना प्राधान्य दिले पाहिजे याकडे लक्ष वेधले. अभ्यासाला वयाचे बंधन नसते मात्र खेळासाठी आवश्यक असलेले कठोर परिश्रम करायला वयामुळे मर्यादा येतात, त्यामुळे पालकांनी आपल्या मुलांच्या खेळाला प्राधान्य द्यावे. त्याचबरोबर खेळाडूंनी देखील आपल्या आवडीच्या खेळासाठी निश्चयपूर्व आणि झोकून देऊन सराव केला पाहिजे. देशात क्रीडा क्षेत्राला पोषक असे व्यावसायिक वातावरण निर्माण झाले आहे, त्याचा उपयोग करून घ्यावा असे ते म्हणाले.
उज्ज्वल वैद्य यांनी आपल्या भाषणात, शिक्षणात पुस्तकी ज्ञानावर भर दिला जात असून खेळातून होणाऱ्या संस्कारांकडे दुर्लक्ष होत असल्याची खंत व्यक्त केली. शालेय वय हे लक्ष्य साध्य करण्याचे वय असते, आपले लक्ष्य साधण्यासाठी विविध साधनांचा वापर करावा लागतो. मात्र आपल्या मार्गात अडथळे आणणाऱ्या स्मार्टफोनसारख्या साधनांच्या आहारी जाऊ नका, गेम खेळणे, सोशल मिडियाचा वापर करणे यासाठी तो वापरू नका. आपले आई,वडील, शिक्षक, गुरुजन यांच्याशी मनातील गोष्टी मोकळेपणाने बोला. चुकीचे भय मनात ठेवू नका कारण त्यातून अधिक चुका होतात, असा सल्ला त्यांनी या वेळी विद्यार्थ्यांना दिला.
डॉ. उमेश बिबवे यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन तर सुधीर भोसले यांनी आभारप्रदर्शन केले.
“विद्यार्थीदशेतील जीवन हा आयुष्यातील सोनेरी काळ असतो. अभ्यासक्रमाला अनुसरून विद्यार्थी ज्या गोष्टी आत्मसात करतो, त्यातून त्याला जीवनभर पुरेल असे शिक्षण मिळते. त्यामुळे शिकण्यासाठी इच्छाशक्ती आवश्यक असते. कोणतेही शॉर्टकट मारण्याचा प्रयत्न करणे उपयोगी ठरत नाही. कष्टांना पर्याय नसतो, त्यामुळे मनापासून कष्ट केले पाहिजेत. आपला दृष्टिकोन केंद्रीत (Focused Approach) असला की कोणताही विषय आत्मसात करणे सोपे जाते,” अशा शद्बात राज्याचे तंत्रशिक्षण संचालक डॉ. विनोद मोहितकर यांनी ‘मएसो’च्या गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन केले.
शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२३-२४ मध्ये महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या विविध महाविद्यालयातील पदवी व पदव्युत्तर परीक्षेत प्रथम क्रमांकाने उत्तीर्ण झालेल्या गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचा गौरव समारंभ आज (शनिवार, दि. ७ डिसेंबर २०२४) म.ए.सो. आबासाहेब गरवारे महाविद्यालयाच्या सभागृहात आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. या वेळी ते बोलत होते. डॉ. मोहितकर यांच्या हस्ते चाळीस गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचा गौरव करण्यात आला.
महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीचे अध्यक्ष एअर मार्शल भूषण गोखले (निवृत्त) कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी होते. संस्थेचे उपाध्यक्ष प्रदीप नाईक यांची या वेळी विशेष उपस्थिती होती. संस्थेच्या नियामक मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष बाबासाहेब शिंदे आणि सहाय्यक सचिव सुधीर भोसले या वेळी व्यासपीठावर उपस्थित होते. राज्याचे तंत्रशिक्षण सहसंचालक डॉ. डी. व्ही. जाधव या कार्यक्रमाला आवर्जून उपस्थित होते.
डॉ. मोहितकर पुढे म्हणाले, “आज गौरवण्यात आलेला प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी उच्च शिक्षणात यश मिळाल्यानंतर आपल्या निवडलेल्या क्षेत्रात कार्यरत आहे, हे महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या महाविद्यालयांमधील शिक्षणाच्या प्रक्रियेचे यश आहे, त्यामुळे सर्व प्राध्यापक कौतुकास पात्र आहेत. राष्ट्रीय शिक्षण धोरणामुळे आपण साचेबद्ध शिक्षण व्यवस्थेकडून लवचिक शिक्षण व्यवस्थेकडे जात आहोत. विद्यार्थ्यांना विषय निवडचे विविध पर्याय उपलब्ध झाले आहेत. शिक्षकवर्गासाठी हे मोठे आव्हान आहे, नवनवे विषय आत्मसात करत राहणे त्यांच्यासाठी अनिवार्य झाले आहे.”
कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रास्ताविकात बाबासाहेब शिंदे म्हणाले, “महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीला गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांची मोठी परंपरा लाभली आहे. या विद्यार्थ्यांनी देशविदेशात नांवलौकिक मिळविला आहे. आजचा गौरव समारंभ हा पुढील पिढीतील विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रेरणा देणारा आहे. संस्था कायमच कालानुरुप शिक्षण देताना सातत्याने नवनवे उपक्रम सुरू करीत आली आहे. लवकरच संस्थेचे लॉ कॉलेज आणि इंजिनियरींग कॉलेज सुरू होत आहे. क्लस्टर युनिव्हर्सिटी स्थापन करण्यासाठी संस्था प्रयत्नशील आहे.”

पुणे, ९ डिसेंबर २०२४ – महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटी (मएसो) आणि दक्षिण कोरियातील क्वांगवून विद्यापीठ यांच्यात आंतरराष्ट्रीय शैक्षणिक व संशोधन सहयोगासाठी सामंजस्य करार (MoU) करण्यात आला. मएसोच्या वतीने संस्थेचे सचिव डॉ. अतुल कुलकर्णी आणि मएसोच्या आजीव सदस्य मंडळाचे सदस्य व एमईएस सीनियर कॉलेजचे प्राचार्य डॉ. रवींद्र वैद्य यांनी तर क्वांगवून विद्यापीठाच्या वतीने आंतरराष्ट्रीय संबंध व कोरियन भाषा संस्थेचे संचालक डॉ. बेंजामिन चो आणि विद्युत व जैविक भौतिकशास्त्र विभाग व प्लाझ्मा बायोसायन्स रिसर्च सेंटरचे प्राध्यापक प्रा. नागेंद्र कौशिक यांनी या करारावर स्वाक्षरी केली.
महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या मुख्य कार्यालयात झालेल्या या कार्यक्रमाला मएसोच्या नियामक मंडळाच्या उपाध्यक्षा सौ. आनंदी पाटील, आंतरराष्ट्रीय संबंध विभागाचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. राजीव हजिरनीस, मएसोचे सहाय्यक सचिव श्री. सुधीर भोसले, मएसो आबासाहेब गरवारे महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. विलास उगले, मएसो गरवारे कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्समधील ज्येष्ठ प्राध्यापिका डॉ. तनुजा देवी, संस्थेचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सचिन आंबर्डेकर आदी मान्यवर याप्रसंगी उपस्थित होते.
डॉ. बेंजामिन चो या वेळी बोलताना म्हणाले, “मएसो आणि क्वांगवून विद्यापीठ यांच्यात झालेला हा करार शैक्षणिक नावीन्य व सांस्कृतिक देवाणघेवाणीसाठी एक महत्त्वाचा टप्पा आहे. विद्यार्थी आणि प्राध्यापकांना लाभदायक ठरतील अशा संधी आम्ही एकत्रितपणे निर्माण करू.”
प्रा. नागेंद्र कौशिक म्हणाले, “ आंतरशाखीय संशोधनासाठी हा करार महत्त्वाचा ठरेल. विद्युत व जैविक भौतिकशास्त्र तसेच प्लाझ्मा बायोसायन्समध्ये नावीन्यपूर्ण संशोधनासाठी हा करार मार्ग मोकळा करेल.”
सौ. आनंदी पाटील आपले मनोगतात व्यक्त करताना म्हणाल्या, “हा करार जागतिक दर्जाचे शिक्षण देण्याच्या महाराष्ट्र एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या दृष्टिकोनाशी सुसंगत आहे. तो विद्यार्थी व प्राध्यापकांना जागतिक पातळीवर नाविन्यपूर्ण शिक्षणाच्या संधी प्रदान करेल, असा मला विश्वास आहे.”
या सामंजस्य कराराद्वारे प्राध्यापक व विद्यार्थी विनिमय कार्यक्रम, संयुक्त संशोधन प्रकल्प, शैक्षणिक कार्यशाळा आणि सांस्कृतिक देवाणघेवाण यांसारख्या अनेक उपक्रमांना चालना दिली जाणार आहे.
या कार्यक्रमाचा समारोप मानचिन्हांचे आदान-प्रदान आणि दोन्ही संस्थांनी आपले उद्दिष्ट साध्य करण्याचा संकल्प व्यक्त करत करण्यात आला. हा करार मएसो व क्वांगवून विद्यापीठासाठी परिवर्तनशील संधी निर्माण करण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा करेल, असा विश्वास या वेळी व्यक्त करण्यात आला.

Established in 1967, it is one of the largest and single faculty commerce colleges in Pune. The College offers courses such as B.Com., M.Com., BBA, BBA (CA), BBA (IB). The College has also established the research centre (Ph.D.-Commerce), namely, Department of Research, Innovations and Consultancy (DRIC). MES set up a shooting range in the premises of MES Renuka Swaroop Memorial Girls' High School to develop interest in shooting as a sport and to nurture players of international standards. MES set up a Personality Development Centre (व्यक्तिमत्व विकास केंद्र) realizing the need to resolve mental and psychological problems in the modern world. In view of the fact that the field of education undergoes constant change, it is necessary that teachers too need to change techniques of teaching, and assessment. Shikshan Prabodhini was set up in the year 2000 to satisfy this need. Various workshops are held for teachers from pre-primary to higher secondary levels.
Physical fitness is as important as mental development. With keeping this in mind, the Shakti Gymnasium was started on the premises of MES Garware College in 1996. Students are systematically trained in physical exercises in the gymnasium which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
