Shikshan Prabodhini Empowering Teachers • Strengthening Schools • Advancing Educational Quality Shikshan Prabodhini, an educational initiative of the Maharashtra Education Society, is a platform dedicated to enhancing educational quality across MES schools through professional development, academic support, research, innovation and knowledge creation.
Since its inception, Shikshan Prabodhini has worked to support schools in improving the quality of education, provide training opportunities for teachers, students and parents,introduce emerging ideas and pedagogical approaches, connect educators with experts, conduct workshops and seminars, promote the effective use of technology, undertake academic review, encourage constructivist approaches and promote educational research. In the changing educational landscape shaped by NEP 2020, NCF 2023, SCF-SE 2024, revised textbooks, digital transformation, changing learner needs and Artificial Intelligence, the role of Shikshan Prabodhini is expanding beyond conventional training. It is evolving towards a broader educational ecosystem supporting professional learning, quality development, research, innovation, knowledge creation, digital learning, leadership development, publication, mentoring and school-based academic collaboration.
